by Clare Louise

Dodge has proudly entered the 2023 model year edition amidst a grand transition. Even with a small lineup to show, this brand has all its cards in place to participate in the race of American performing brands. The 2023 Dodge Lineup says it has shed its earlier V-8 muscle car and shifted its focus on building up an electrified future of having a wide range of vehicles, which will include the new 2023 Dodge Hornet as a small EV crossover at every new dodge vehicle dealership Riverdale UT.

This transition is now being celebrated with grandeur by the brand which is now bringing back its Durango Hellcat model for the year 2023. As per the rumors spread in its closest circle, Dodge will also launch several other iterations for its flagship muscle cars, including the new convertible named Challenger, while the brand Dodge is also promoting the release of its new aftermarket products, like a Direct Connection, which will maximize the scope for customization of every Dodge model that comes equipped with factory-backed parts. The aim of this is to allow the new owners to personalize their models as per their preferences.

2023 Dodge Hornet

The 2023 Dodge Hornet will be a small SUV that will have the trim GT at its Base and use a 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine. This powerplant will be making 268 hp and 295 lb. ft of torque when matched with a 9-speed automatic transmission.

With this powertrain at work, the 2023 Dodge Hornet models will be able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph within a timeframe of 6.5 seconds. The next higher trim R/T will be a plug-in hybrid that will be powered by a 1.3-liter turbo-4 engine clubbed with a 90-kW motor that will be attached to the rear axle. This trim will make use of a 6-speed automatic transmission that will shuttle the engine torque to the front axle while generating 288 hp and 383 lb. ft. of torque. It will be able to accelerate at 0-60 mph in merely 6.1 seconds.

Dodge has announced loading its new Hornet series with a greater number of standard safety features as well as a higher level of convenience tweaks. Hence, the users of the new 2023 Dodge Hornet models will get to enjoy the advantages of an automatic emergency braking system, paired with an active lane control feature. There will also be the protection of a couple of blind-spot monitors, while a digital instrument cluster of 12.3-inch will accommodate a 10.3-inch touchscreen display that can work with a wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay/Amazon Alexa system and can charge their smartphones through a wireless charger.

2023 Dodge Hellcat

The 2023 Dodge Hellcat is a seven-seated SUV model that will mostly carry over its earlier traits except for one big change, which is the return of its high-performance SRT trim that moves on a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine. This trim can generate 710 hp and 645 lb. ft of torque with a standard AWD system on board. With an 8-speed automatic transmission wedded to the engine, the 2023 dodge Hellcat SRT models will have the strength to tow up to 8,700 lb.

But there will be more to the new Dodge Lineup that is worth exploring.
