The 2020 Mazda 6 adds a substantial amount of value to the segment of compact cars. Given the shape of both sedan and hatchback styles, it is one of the most cherished and popular models that users have recommended so far.

At the Phoenix Mazda dealer showroom, we were given a list of features that is offered on the 2020 year edition lineup of Mazda 6 series. The list contained both standard and optional features that are packed in the different trim levels of the 2020 Mazda 6. Among them while some were standard on all models, few could be seen as standard only on higher trims and optional on the lower ones.

Lineup Structure of the 2020 Year Series

For the year 2020, Mazda doesn’t make any apparent changes to the 6 series and it continues the same lineup structure of the last year edition. The only addition is the newly introduced key fob. So, for 2020, you can choose a Mazda 6 model either in sedan guise or in hatchback style, in the first instance. But even among these two major divisions, its comfort, convenience, and safety standards will be layered in the ascending order of Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, and Grand Touring Reserve trims, the price of which will also climb these same steps accordingly.

FeaturesInstalled Inside the Cabin

Mazda offers dual-zone climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, an 8.0-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system that comes with a dial controller. With this come two USB ports and Bluetooth connectivity as parts of the same standard features installed on all trims across the entire 2020 lineup.

But to avail the functionalities of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you need to step up from the Sport trim to next higher one, the Touring that will also enable higher standards of creature comforting features like a synthetic leathered upholstery, a power driver’s seat, heated front seats, a power moonroof, and 19-inch wheels.

The next higher level sees the Grand Touring models add the advantages of a crystal clear Bose audio system that will also play the satellite radio. For better visibility it will have a pair of auto-dimming rearview mirrors, in addition to the heated side mirrors to the above said features.

The still higher Grand Touring Reserve trims will justify the price hike in terms of fine leather upholstered cabin, a heated steering wheel, power-folding mirrors, a color head-up display, power front seats coming with heating and cooling functionalities, heated rear seats and a neater interior layout.

As the brochure of the Mazda dealership Phoenix reads, the Signature model at the topmost branch of the trim tree of the 2020 Mazda 6 will fringe into the territory of luxury cars, in which the cabins will come wrapped in combination of Nappa leather and wood with suede accents, the display will get bigger to 7.0-inch size showing the satellite navigation. It will have better visibility with a surround-view camera system that can be added as an optional feature.
